ABSTRACT-The «Chemical Deformation Density» (CDD) is defined as the minimal electron density difference between the molecule or crystal, and the optimally and uniquely positioned and oriented ground state atoms. The CDD offers a coherent picture of bond and Jane pair deformations. Fluorine, oxygen, and nitrogen compounds do no longer exhibit exceptional features.
